Trust & safety
How FreeForge
Reviews Resources
Free resources shouldn’t mean blind downloads. We inspect, scan and analyse every resource before it’s made available, so you can build your server with more confidence.

What we check
A closer look at our process
We look for common risks and analyse each resource so you can see what was checked before you download it.
Automated Scan
Every upload is scanned with multiple tools to detect malware, credential stealers, cryptominers and other known threats.
Code Review
We analyse the code for obfuscation, suspicious behaviour, hidden functionality and any external connections.
Source & Provenance
We record the original creator, source (where known), version and other relevant information to help you understand what you're downloading.
Resource badges
What the badges mean
Each resource shows a review status badge so you know exactly where it stands.

What a review does not mean
We’re transparent about the limitations of our review process.
- We cannot guarantee 100% safety.
- Zero-day threats may still be missed.
- We are not the original developers.
- Resources may still violate the original creator's terms of service.
- You are responsible for how you use any resource downloaded from FreeForge.
Found a problem?
If you believe a resource contains malicious code, incorrect information or violates our guidelines, let us know immediately. Your reports help keep the community safe.
